Pre-Con's edge in application know-how led to a joint venture to design and manufacture the precast reinforced tunnel liner system for the Canadian National Railway’s St. Clair River tunnel connecting Sarnia, Ontario with Port Huron, Michigan.

Pre-Con's experience and expertise has also contributed to many other tunnel projects including the Toronto Transit Commission’s subway extensions, the Neeling-McIntyre sewage tunnel in Thunder Bay and the San Diego tunnel project in California.
